Brief Factual Summary: Plaintiff alleged that on July 19, 2024, the plaintiff was an Access-A-Ride passenger of a motor vehicle operated by defendant Jeleesa Jeffrey when it allegedly came into contact with a motor vehicle operated by defendant Mario C. Avilez at the intersection of Strauss and Lott Avenue, Brooklyn, New York. Plaintiff alleged that defendant Jelessa Jeffrey was an employee of the NYCTA, through the Access-A-Ride program. On February 12, 2025, we filed a summary judgment motion that the plaintiff was not an Access-A-Ride user on the date of the accident, that defendant Jeffrey was not employed by the NYCTA, nor did NYCTA own, maintain, or control the subject vehicles involved in this accident. On April 2, 2025, the motion was granted.
