Brief Factual Summary: This action arose from a motor vehicle accident that occurred on August 27, 2018, at. Cross Hill Avenue and Corbalis Place in Yonkers, NY. A police vehicle made contact with plaintiff’s nearly stopped vehicle. At the liability trial in August 2025, the defendants were found 75% negligent for causing the accident. and the plaintiff was found to be 25% responsible.
Due to the accident, the plaintiff alleged serious injuries to his right knee, right shoulder, cervical and lumbar spines. He underwent surgeries to each body part including a cervical percutaneous discectomy in February 2020 and a two level, open, lumbar discectomy in August 2020.
