Brief Factual Summary: This action arose from allegations that on November 25, 2022,

The 81 year old plaintiff was hit by the closing train door and propelled to the platform fracturing her pelvis.  Liability was conceded as was the plaintiff’s fractured pelvis.

During the trial on damages, plaintiff’s counsel asked the jury for past and future pain and suffering totaling in the range of $750,000.   On January 23, 2026, the jury rendered a verdict awarding the plaintiff $150,000 for past pain and suffering and made no award for future damages.
